HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The power of pink is bringing together The Hawaii Affiliate of Susan G. Komen and the Royal Hawaiian Hotel, A Luxury Collection Resort, to raise awareness about the fight against breast cancer by hosting an Inaugural Pink Tie Ball on Friday, March 9, 2012.
The Pink Tie Ball, presented by Honolulu's famed Pink Palace of the Pacific, is an elegant black-tie (pink-tie encouraged) gala featuring pink champagne and cocktail reception, dinner and silent auction. During the elegant evening, The Susan G. Komen, Hawaii Affiliate will be honoring Doctor William S. Loui, a passionate advocate in addressing health disparities. He has represented Hawaii on the national Health Disparities Advisory Group for the American Society of Clinical Oncology and has worked in local programs ensuring cancer care for women and minorities.
Doors open to the Monarch Ballroom at 6:00 p.m for a cocktail reception. Dinner and Program start at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are available for $175 per person. Table of ten sponsorship packages are also available for a Strength Sponsor of $3,000, Courage Sponsor for $5,000, and $10,000 for a Hope Sponsorship.
