HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The National Weather Service says the island of Oahu is under a flash flood watch until 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.
According to the WS, radar showed moderate to heavy rainfall over the southeast area of Oahu.

The NWS says rainfall is expected to ease and gradually end, but stream levels will continue to be high. Ponding of water along roadways will also persist.
The public is advised to stay away from streams, drainage ditches and low lying areas prone to flooding.
Forecasters say rainfall and runoff may cause hazardous driving conditions.
