Diamond Head Road reopened following mudslide

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu police have reopened Diamond Head Road between Makalea Place and the Diamond Head lighthouse following a mudslide.

The incident was reported at about 1:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Road crews cleared rocks and debris on the mauka and makai lanes.

Officials say they were not clearing boulders, but rocks the size of basketballs.

No injuries were reported.
