MANOA (HawaiiNewsNow) - The University of Hawaii at Manoa is telling students how it will process payments after a fire at the records office destroyed all payment documents submitted, but not released for payment.
According to the university's website, payments will be made in the following order:
- Stipend, fellowship and scholarship payments
- Utility payments
- Payments over 30 days past due including reimbursements
- Payments considered rush for other reasons to be evaluated on a case-by-case basis
- All other payments
UH says a "good portion" of the payments were processed and sent out last week, and should arrive in the next few days.
The school is also asking for photocopies of replacement payment documents.
