A woman in her 20's is in critical condition after falling from a third floor lanai at a Waikiki condo. Witnesses report screaming. The next thing they know, the woman was on the ground. We're on scene gathering details on what happened.
Another story developing this morning, possible problems for passengers arriving in Honolulu. Some cab drivers are planning a work stoppage for up to 3 days. They're upset over new rules by their Manager, Ampco Express. Ampco raised the price drivers pay for each fare from 4 to 5 dollars.
ROUND TWO OF SEVERE WEATHER FOR KAUAI?
Kauai could be soaked by a second round of rain today. We're also tracking breezy trades which have triggered a small craft advisory, and are making for messy surf. A bigger northwest swell is expected on Saturday.
POCKET POWER OUTAGE
A handful of Kailua families still don't have power near Kalaheo High School. The culprit? A brush fire that knocked out service last night.
CITY BUDGET, LUNCH WAGONS, & MARCH FOR MEALS
Happening today, Honolulu Mayor Peter Carlisle will release the city's budget for the upcoming fiscal year. That is scheduled for 2 PM. Also today, City council will hear testimony that would extend the time lunch wagons could park from 15 minutes to 2 hours. And, starting at 10:30 this morning, there will be a march for meals. Lanakila Meals on Wheels wants to highlight the issue of senior hunger.

The Red Cross Hawaii chapter begins its month long fundraiser today and there are many ways to help. From buying meals to an online auction, we'll show you the various ways to donate on Sunrise at 7:10.
Plus, Chef Robin Lee from Nobu will be in our Sunrise kitchen preparing a shrimp dish that will be served at the Hookipa fundraiser for Kapiolani Community College's culinary program. We'll do the taste test at 8:20.
