H-1 shooting suspect makes court appearance

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A man accused of a road rage shooting on the H-1 freeway made his initial court appearance Monday.

Douglas Freeman, 65, is charged with terroristic threatening and reckless endangerment after allegedly firing shots at the car on the H-1 freeway Friday night.

Bronson Botelho, 23, claims Freeman cut him off and after a brief exchange the 65 year-old fired two shots into his car.

Freeman was later arrested at his apartment.
