Kauai remains under Flash Flood Watch

Flash Flood Watch for Kauai until 6 a.m. Sunday

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A Flash Flood Watch is posted for the island of Kauai until 6 a.m. Sunday.

Forecasters said a deep trough to the west of the islands will lead to unstable conditions over Kauai. While continuous heavy rainfall is not expected, conditions will be favorable for bands of heavy showers to move over the Garden Isle at times. Also, the ground is already saturated, increasing the possibility of flash flooding.
