Deadly Kaaawa crash involved couple on honeymoon

KAAAWA (HawaiiNewsNow) - Sources tell Hawaii News Now that a female tourist who was in Hawaii on her honeymoon is dead following a motorcycle crash near Crouching Lion.

Her husband is in critical condition.

Police say the accident happened around 12:20 p.m. near 51-0666 Kamehameha Highway.  Initial reports indicate the couple, which was visiting from Japan, lost control of the motorcycle and hit a guardrail.

Police have opened all lanes of Kamehameha highway.
