HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Throughout the month of February, 12th Avenue Grill is offering a variety of savory and sweet bee-inspired specials and cocktails with honey simple syrup.
"Derived from the Hive" is a month-long benefit to raise money for the protection of bees in Hawaii's food production. One dollar from every culinary or cocktail special will support UH-Manoa's Bee Project for research and education and UH-Hilo's Adopt-a-Hive program.
The benefit culminates in a honey tasting and beer dinner on Monday, February 27. The prix fixe meal costs $55 with pairings by British brewer Samuel Smith. Two-hour seatings start promptly at 6 p.m.
