Man Shot by Kauai Police Dies, Critical Crash, Supreme Court in School

MAN SHOT BY KAUAI POLICE DIES

A man who was shot by police on Kauai died overnight. An officer shot 62 year old Richard "Dickie" Louis last night when Louis resisted arrest on an outstanding warrant. He was transferred to Oahu for medical care, but died at the hospital.

CRITICAL MOTORCYCLE CRASH

A motorcyclist is in the hospital after crashing his bike in Wahiawa. The accident shut down roads in Central Oahu for several hours. The scene has been cleared.

MORE PETCO COMPLAINTS SURFACE

Just days after Hawaii News Now reported that a dog owner filed lawsuit against Petco, another upset owner is accusing the groomer of wrongdoing. The story was picked up nationally because of claims the groomer cut off a dog's ear and tried to glue it back on without saying a word. SUPREME COURT HEADS TO SCHOOL

Hawaii'S Supreme Court will make history today when it hears arguments at Farrington High School. This morning, 200 students from Farrington and Mililani High Schools will convene at the school auditorium. Oral arguments will be presented from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
