HILO (HawaiiNewsNow) - Big island police are looking for new information in a missing woman cold case.

Fran Uilani Kaniho disappeared in 1988. At the time she was 19 and was last seen at her home on Wright Road in Volcano.

Police say they hope someone who sees Kaniho's picture may be able to remember something.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
