Hawaii gas prices soaring

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Drivers in Hawaii can expect to pay more at the pump this week.

According to officials, the average cost of a gallon of gas has nearly 12 cents over the last three weeks.

In Honolulu, the average price per gallon is at $4.07.

In Hilo, the average price per gallon is at $4.39, and in Wailuku it's at $4.41.

Currently on the mainland, drivers are paying an average of $3.51 per gallon.
