Coach Charged with Sex Assault, Mayor Pay Back, Rescue at Sea

 

WAIPAHU HIGH SCHOOL TRACK COACH CHARGED WITH SEXUAL ASSAULT

Tonight at 5 we hear from school officials after a Waipahu High School track coach is charged with sexual assault.   According to the DOE, 37-year-old track and field and cross-country coach Erik Tamura was placed on paid leave over allegations he sexually assaulted one of his female runners. Minna Sugimoto will have the latest.

MAYOR CARLISLE ASKED TO PAY BACK MONEY

Honolulu Mayor Peter Carlisle may have to pay back more than $3,000.  The City Ethics Commission made the recommendation today after taking a closer look at a trip he and his wife made to China last June.  Lisa Kubota has the details tonight at 5.
