BIG ISLAND (HawaiiNewsNow) - New video showing lava quickly moving through a lava tube has been added to the USGS/Hawaiian Volcano Observatory website.

In the video you can see the lava swiftly moving towards an active flow field.

Two new photographs were also posted.

Through a 'collapsed cone' you can see a swiftly flowing stream of lava heading into the tube system that supplies the active flow field. While the other shows the lava flow field and several narrow streams of lava.

The active flows were 3.7 miles southeast of Pu'u O'o.
