HIGH SURF WARNING
It may not be good enough for Eddie to go, but the huge waves have triggered a high surf warning for North and West facing shores through Thursday. We have team coverage this morning on Sunrise with Dan's weather updates and live reports from Ramsay on the North Shore. You can get an up to the minute surf report here.

MEMORIAL FOR FALLEN OFFICER
Happening today, a memorial will be held for Officer Garret Davis. He was killed last month when a truck slammed into his patrol car on the H-1 Freeway. Visitation starts at 10 am at Borthwick Mortuary. Services are at 1 pm. Expect closures on Maunakea Street from Kukui to Vineyard from 8am to 2pm.
Also this morning at 10 am, the Legislature will hold a hearing to discuss the impact of the closure of Hawaii Medical Center and possible timeline to reopen the cash strapped hospitals.
