HILO (HawaiiNewsNow) - Big Island police are looking for two suspects in connection with an assault and kidnapping case, and one of them has already been charged in another violent crime.
Officials say a 20-year old man reported being attacked outside a restaurant on Kamehameha Avenue shortly before midnight Wednesday.
Police are looking for 24-year old Turner Kaimana Au of Hilo and 21-year old Waylen Keone Carenio Jr. of Kamuela.
In December, Carenio was charged with manslaughter in the death of Roy Williams.
The two men were involved in a fight outside Karma Hawaii sports bar.
Williams fell and hit his head.
Carenio was later freed on $50,000 bail.
Police say Carenio and Au may be armed and should not be approached.
