HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - It's been a computer store, an election headquarters and lately an auto dealership. Now the old CompUSA property on Ala Moana Boulevard has a new future as a high-rise condo.
Alexander and Baldwin says it's buying the land from Kamehameha schools and plans to build a tower possibly with commercial space.
A&B says it'll be several years before they start building.
A&B expects its pre-development efforts will take several years and will not have any near-term impact on the existing tenants at the property.
