WAIKIKI (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu police are asking for the public's help in locating an armed robber.

According to officials, the man allegedly broke into a Waikiki hotel room Monday afternoon. The suspect was reportedly holding a handgun and managed to take several items before fleeing.

Three tourists from Canada were in the Lewers Street hotel room at the time of the incident.

Police believe the suspect is in his 40s.

Anyone with tips is asked to call CrimeStoppers.
