HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu police are looking for a driver who hit a pedestrian, sending her to the hospital in serious condition.

According to officials, the incident happened on Old Waialae Road near the H-1 westbound on ramp around 1:30 a.m. Thursday.

Details are limited, but police say the woman was hit and the driver failed to stop.

There is no description of the vehicle in question at this time.

The victim was transported the Queen's Medical Center.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call police.
