HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The first of three Hawaii-based Marines accused of hazing a fellow brother is expected in court Monday.
Lance Cpl. Jacob Jacoby is expected to agree to a plea bargain in the case.
Jacoby and two other Marines are accused of beating and demeaning Lance Cpl. Harry Lew after he fell asleep while on guard duty in Afghanistan.
Lew later committed suicide.
Sergeant Benjamin Johns, the leader of the squad the Marines belonged to, and Lance Cpl. Carlos Orozco III, will each have their own separate courts martial at later dates.
