HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Crews from the Honolulu Board of Water Supply are working to fix in a break in 12-inch water main on Dillingham Boulevard.

The break was reported Saturday at around 10:30 a.m. in the westbound lanes just after Ala Kawa Street next to Honolulu Community College. Water from the main flooded the entire roadway between Ala Kawa and Kohou Streets.

Police closed Dillingham while crews turned the water off. Traffic is currently being contraflowed with one lane in each direction near Ala Kawa.

A board spokesman said three services were affected by the break. Work to repair the main and the roadway was expected to last into Saturday night.
