HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu Police said one man is dead and three others wounded after a stabbing at Mayor Wright Housing in the Liliha area.
Police said they were called at 6:45 p.m. Friday.
Neighbors who didn't want to talk on camera said it started with a fight involving several people
Police say they found the four victims in an area between buildings 34 and 35, near the corner of Pua Lane and Vineyard Boulevard.
Witnesses tell Hawaii News Now that one man stabbed the four men. According to Maj. William Chur, a suspect was taken into custody and that the knife apparently used in the attack was recovered.
Neighbors say that the apartment area where the stabbing occurred is often the scene of large parties on Friday and Saturday nights and that fights often break out.
The investigation is ongoing; meantime the suspect faces homicide charges.
