On Maui, a kayak floats ashore and its owner is no where to be found. During the search for the missing kayaker, beach-goers report a body floating off of Kihei Beach this afternoon and then a shark sighting. We'll bring you the latest developments.

Meantime, there is a different emergency at sea on Oahu. Ocean Safety and Coast Guard crews rush to a boat that's run aground off of Magic Island.

Our Minna Sugimoto has an exclusive story about a possible case of a Honolulu police officer gone bad.

Guy has some "swell" news for surfers, for more click on the Surf Report, plus Taizo is watching the roads for any slow downs in your pau hana commute.

And...wait'll you see the illegal slithery discovery State workers found in the grass across from the Honolulu International Airport!

Hope you join Shawn Ching and me for these stories and much more tonight at 5 & 5:30!

Aloha!
