I joined the Hawaii News Now team on Monday, Feb. 7, 2011, as an anchor-reporter. Having thirteen years of experience behind the anchor desk and also as a sports director, I have also done color commentary for University of Hawaii football games as well as Hawaii high school football.
In 2008 I took break from behind the anchor desk to received my law degree and to work as an attorney for Kobayashi, Sugita & Goda, specializing in commercial and construction litigation and then for King, Nakamura & Chun-Hoon, specializing in labor and employment law, personal injury and commercial litigation. Besides my law degree from UH, I also hold a Master's in Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from UH. I am also a member of St. Francis School Board, the Oahu Interscholastic Athletic Association Board and the UH Athletic Advisory Board.
