Breaking News: 6 Kaneohe Marines Killed in Afghanistan

KANEOHE MARINES KILLED IN CRASH

Hawaii News Now has just confirmed all six Marines killed in a U.S. Helicopter crash in Afghanistan were from Marine Corps Base Hawaii. Their helicopter crashed yesterday in Afghanistan's southern province of Helmand. Ramsay Wharton is gathering details and will have the latest starting on Sunrise at 4:30. TEACHERS CONTRACT REJECTED, STRIKE POSSIBLE

We're also following the latest on the State teachers contract rejection. Only 33% voted yes on their proposed 6 year contract yesterday. 67% voted no. Their next move could be to authorize a strike vote.
