HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A man who has been wanted in Texas for the past two years appeared before an Oahu judge Thursday. Rodolpho Sanchez, 41, waived an extradition hearing and agreed to return to Harris County to face two counts of indecency with a child.

Members of the US Marshal's Adam Walsh Task Force in Honolulu arrested the suspect at an apartment in Mililani over the weekend.

Sanchez told Circuit Judge Richard Perkins that he suffers from post traumatic stress and is running low on medications. He also explained why he isn't fighting extradition.

"I am very motivated to defend myself in court, yes, sir," the defendant said.

Bail is set at $60,000. Sanchez will remain at the Oahu Community Correctional Center until Texas authorities can pick him up.
