Three incidents involving children have parents in the Salt Lake area concerned, vigilant, and taking steps to protect their kids. Jim Mendoza will have more on that story tonight.

After a number recent killings of Hawaiian Monk seals, authorities are now stepping up efforts to catch those responsible for killing the endangered species. And the reward money is now in the tens of thousands of dollars.

And, with the tee off of the Sony Open this week, we'll tell you how the sport of golf is making a big impact to our local economy.
