Three men arrested in connection with beating and robbery

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu police arrested three men after they allegedly beat and robbed a man outside a Ward Avenue area nightclub early Saturday morning.

Authorities said a 24-year-old victim and three female witnesses were outside of the nightclub at around 1:30 a.m. When a 22-year-old man approached and assaulted the victim. The first suspect also demanded property from the victim, who was assaulted by a second suspect, identified as a 31-year-old man. After the victim gave up his property to the first suspect, a third suspect, a 24-year-old man, assaulted the victim again.

The three suspects fled in a vehicle, but returned to the scene, where the witnesses saw the suspects and took down the vehicle information. Officers located the suspect vehicle nearby and the three suspects were identified and arrested. Police said the third suspect was later found to be in possession of a dangerous drug.
