HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -After five years at the Pearlridge shopping center, Price Busters says it is closing down on Friday.
The company says the mall location was just too big. They will be opening another location in a smaller space about a half mile away at the Aiea commercial center.
The store's 30 employees will keep their jobs. The Honolulu-based company says the workers will be transferred to the new store or other locations.
"Very excited about the new location. We have a lot of new things coming into the store. A lot of great product. Everybody is working very hard. It's going to be very exciting," said Store Manager Randi Aweau.
The new store will open in early February and will be about half the size of the current location.
