'Hale Reena' is a 7,000 square foot home that is furnished in South Seas plantation style and has a lagoon-type pool-spa. It has disappearing walls of glass that make for a stunning view of the inner courtyard.

David Dunham of Oahu Luxury Homes tells Hawaii News Now that the house will go up for sale after the Obama's head back to Washington. The asking price will be $7.9 million.

For the past three years the Obama's spent Christmas and New Year's in the Plantation Estate at Paradise Point at Kailua Bay. Hale Reena is just a couple homes away.

No word on how much the Obama's are paying to rent the Kailua estate.
