HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu police have arrested a suspect in Tuesday's First Hawaiian Bank robbery in Liliha.
Police arrested James Otten just before midnight on Wednesday fronting 1161 Maunakea Street.
A police officer reportedly recognized the suspect in the surveillance video and identified Otten.
The 36 year old was booked on suspicion of second-degree robbery, third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug and third-degree promotion of a detrimental drug.
Police are investigating whether he is the same suspect in another bank robbery that happened in Haleiwa on Wednesday.
At this point, police have not verified a connection between the two cases.
