Suspect on loose following Liliha bank robbery

LILIHA (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu police are searching for a suspect who got away after robbing a bank in Liliha Tuesday morning.

According to officials, the male suspect entered the First Hawaiian Bank located at 445 North King Street at 8:34 a.m. He then gave a note to the teller and fled on foot on King Street toward Aala Park.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male believed to be in his 30s. He is about 5'10" and weighs approximately 180 pounds with brown facial hair and a goatee.

He was last seen wearing a black jacket, white T-Shirt, light-colored shorts and brown cap.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call police.
