HAWAIIAN PARADISE PARK (HawaiiNewsNow) - A five-year sentence was handed down for the Big Island's oldest defendant convicted of a dangerous drug offense.
Rodrigo Borreta turns 88 next month. He was sentenced to prison last week for possessing and selling meth.
According to officials, police officers searched his home in Hawaiian Paradise Park and found 3.7 grams of methamphetamine packaged for sale.
They also found drug paraphernalia, including a scale.
