HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Residents near Volcano on the Big Island of Hawaii may have been shaken by a magnitude 3.7 earthquake Thursday afternoon.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake occurred at 2:22 p.m. about 7 miles southwest of the Kilauea Summit and 32 miles south-southwest of Hilo.
