(HawaiiNewsNow) - When the coaching search committee met for the first time on Monday to look over applications for the head coaching position, it was clear they had a daunting task.  30 applicants, and many of them exceptionally well qualified.  The committee's job is getting tougher.  That's because the position remains open, so the number of applications is growing. As of close of business today, the total was up to 42.  Still, Athletic Director Jim Donovan is confident they'll get the job done.  There is no timetable for the committee to come up with a list of finalists. But it's expected to take at least the remainder of this work week to do so.
