HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The National Weather Service has extended a flash flood watch for the entire state until 6 a.m. Monday.
The Weather Service said an unstable atmosphere aloft will continue to bring the threat of locally heavy showers and thunderstorms to all islands. A surface trough near the islands also will act as a focus for low-level moisture.
The Weather Service also issued a marine weather statement, warning boaters to remain alert for changing weather conditions, and to be prepared to take evasive action if a special marine warnings are issued.
