HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A man charged with attempted murder following a shooting outside Aiea Bowl in April pleaded guilty to a lesser charge Monday.
Under an agreement with city prosecutors, Joseph Pasion pleaded guilty to the reduced charge of first-degree assault, as well as multiple firearms offenses. The most serious gun charge will be dropped under the deal.
Police say the 31-year-old shot Landon Dela Cruz following a dispute inside the bowling alley. The victim recovered from his injuries.
Sentencing for Pasion is set for February 15th.
