EWA BEACH (HawaiiNewsNow) - A family of four is homeless after a fire tore through their Ewa Beach home.
A neighbor shot this video as smoke billowed out from the house on Kimopelekane Street.
It was brought under control within 10 minutes.
No one was injured.
The home's occupants were on their way to Thursday night's Wahine volleyball match when the fire broke out.
A neighbor says she heard some commotion and went outside to investigate.
"I just saw the thick smoke coming from this side so I look around and so this must be my neighbor who live next door to me, and I hurried up and got out because they told us to get out the house", said neighbor Esther Echineque.
"They seem like a good, strong, close family, they have relatives that live right next door. When talking to me they expressed that, you know, they're gonna pick themselves up and recover, said Capt. Terry Seelig of the Honolulu Fire Department.
The home is a total loss and the Red Cross has been called to help the family.
There's no word on what sparked the fire.
