MILILANI & HAWAII KAI (HawaiiNewsNow) - Board of Water Supply crews have repaired three separate water main breaks located in Mililani and Hawaii Kai area.
Crews repaired a broken 16-inch water main on Meheula Parkway at the Kuahelani Avenue intersection near the H-2 freeway interchange.
The water main was originally installed in 1968. No customers were impacted by the break, but it did cause traffic jams for drivers.
A second water main break was reported on Kalanianaole Highway approximately 150 yards east of Keahole Street in the Hawaii Kai area.
A third water main break was reported on Kuliouou Road near Wakine Place. The road was closed between Keoki Place and Pahukula Place, but was later reopened.
Approximately 24 customers were affected by the Kuliouou Road water main break. Water service has since been restored.
