WAIPIO (HawaiiNewsNow) - New details on the deadly wrong-way crash Saturday morning on the H-2 freeway.

We now know the name of the driver who allegedly caused the wreck.

According to police, 21-year old Jameson Yong of Waianae was heading southbound in the northbound lanes in a white BMW when he slammed head-on into a Toyota Tacoma killing its driver.

Family and friends have identified the victim as 40-year old Lance Miyashiro of Wahiawa.

He was going home after working at the Mai Tai Bar at Ala Moana Center.

Sunday, the Miyashiro family released this:

"It is an understatement to say that Lance will be deeply missed. There is no way of replacing the hole that is left in our hearts for a son, brother and friend".

Yong was last listed in critical condition.
