JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM (HawaiiNewsNow) - After wrapping up a trip that took him to meetings in Hawaii, Australia and Indonesia, President Obama made a quick pit stop in Honolulu Saturday.
Air Force One landed at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam just after 11 a.m. as the president headed back to Washington, D.C.
A temporary flight restriction was in plane for several hours as the plane was being refueled. After a little more than an hour, Air Force One lifted off to resume the trip to Washington.
In Indonesia, the president met with leaders of southeast Asian nationals, reaffirming their commitment to democracy and human rights.
The president and his family are expected back on Oahu next month for the holidays.
