HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Hawaii Bone Marrow Donor Registry will be having a hair and fashion show luncheon on Sunday, November 20, 2011 at the Hawaii Prince Hotel. This magical event will feature some of Hawaii's top local designers and stores in a fun and exciting way.
Top local designers and stores will be featured: Anne Namba Designs, Tori Richard Ltd., Iolani on Kona Street, Cinnamon Girl, Hawaiian Island Creations, Fighting Eel, Manuheali'i, Jams World, BECCA beach Kahala, East Honolulu Clothing Company, Jewelry by Beverly Creamer, Stephanie C, Therapy Boutique and Princess Kaiulani Fashions & Bridal Collections. Over 25 donors and patients will be our special models for this event!
Hair and make-up for our runway models will be provided by the Hawaii Paul Mitchell Education Team and Paul Mitchell The School Honolulu.
Entertainment will be the Registry's own Roy Yonashiro & Special Friends (members of Natural High and Funkshun).
One of the highlights will be a "first-time" meeting between a local donor and his recipient from the mainland, a young mother of two.
This event will raise awareness and much-needed funds for the Hawaii Bone Marrow Donor Registry and help us continue our work to improve the quality of lives of patients here in Hawaii, on the mainland U.S. and around the world!
