World leaders arriving Friday, traffic delays expected

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Several world leaders are expected to arrive at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam Friday morning.

Drivers can expect road closures on the H-1 Freeway and Nimitz Highway following their arrival.

Scheduled to land on Friday include Russian president, Dmitry Medvedev and the Sultan of Brunei.

Australian prime minister Julia Gillard landed just before 7:30 a.m.

Philippines president Benigno Aquino III arrived just after 8:20 a.m.

President of Chile, Sebastian Pinera, landed at around 8:35 a.m.
