People in Hawaii are reacting with anger that Hawaiian Telcom's union employees are thinking about striking rather than compromise on benefits that include free medical that almost nobody else gets any more.

Hawaii Pacific Health, owner of the Straub, Kapiolani, Pali Momi and Wilcox Hospitals, confirms it is taking a look at possibly acquiring one or both of the former St. Francis Hospitals.
