Hawaii's special teams, the topic of conversation for lack of productivity the last few weeks, came up big, converting all three FG attempts, including the go-ahead 35 yarder by senior Kenton Chun with 34 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter.
Bryant Moniz threw for 338 yards, a touchdown and interception, while Royce Pollard hauled in 10 receptions for 151 yards.
Receiver Billy Ray Stutzmann added 8 receptions for 73 yards and Hawaii's only touchdown, a 2 yarder in the 2nd quarter that gave UH a 13-7 lead at the half.
Hawaii returns to Aloha Stadium Saturday, November 5th, when they host Utah State.
