(HONOLULU) - Honolulu's traffic camera network will be temporarily off-line to the public next month for APEC.
The City Department of Transportation will restrict images from traffic cameras at 6:30 p.m. Monday, November 7 through November 14.
Traffic information will continue to be provided to the news media. Urgent alerts and emergency information will be issued using the city's emergency e-mail and text messaging system, known as Nixle.
The city says it is asking for the public's patience and regrets any inconvenience resulting from these temporary security precautions.
