Maui Marine competes in 'Maximum Warrior'

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Maximum Warrior is a one-of-a-kind competition that tests 10 active or former military and 10 civilian contestants in 15 action-packed, adrenaline-filled challenges.

United States Marine Corps Platoon Sgt. Mike Stevens, originally from Maui, Hawaii and currently stationed at Camp Pendleton in Southern California, competed in the competition against nine other special ops operators, with one ultimately being crowned the Maximum Warrior.

The competition tested the marine's military skills, quick decision-making ability and all-out physical stamina. The Maximum Warrior competition was hosted in Crawfordsville, Ark., at a special elite training facility called T1G. This program is sponsored by MAXIM, in partnership with the Jeep® Brand.
