Coming up on Hawaii News Now Wednesday

Did you feel it? A 4.5 magnitude earthquake rattled residents on the Big Island at about 2 p.m. No tsunami alert was issued. Guy has more on the quake and the aftershocks that followed.

Also, the Hawaiian Humane Society has launched an investigation into a case of animal cruelty. A dog that died from injuries consistent with those from a dog fight was found in Leeward Oahu. Jim Mendoza will have the details.

We're following a developing story in Ohio. Dozens of wild animals were shot and killed after the owner of a nature park let them out and then committed suicide. We'll talk with a reporter who is on the scene in a live interview to learn more about what happened.

And on a much lighter note the newest and pretty bizarre fair food combines sweet dessert with a meaty hamburger.

Shawn Ching has the night off tonight. Hope you will join me and Guy Hagi on Hawaii News Now at 5 & 5:30!

Aloha! Stephanie
