HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A portion of Ala Moana Boulevard will be closed Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The Gas Company is performing emergency repair work on its underground utility pipeline located on Ala Moana Boulevard between Hobron Lane and Kalia Road.
The road work is forcing crews to close the right Ewa bound lane and a portion of the sidewalk fronting 1830 Ala Moana Boulevard.
Police will be on site and sign boards will be posted to help direct motorists and pedestrians around the construction area. Motorists and pedestrians are urged to take an alternate route if possible,
