Job Link Now: Kama'aina Realty

(HawaiiNewsNow) - Realtors can make a good living here in the islands and Kama'aina Realty is looking for a few good men and women. They're open to new hires right now.

So many people are out of work now, including some of our realtors that have transitioned, maybe they're looking to come back into the markets, just coming out of school, and getting their license and training. Tell us how many positions.

We're looking for a number of good agents. Now is a great time to get into the business. Now is a great time to learn the business.  So now is the time to head into a great industry real estate, Kama'aina realty.

Are the commissions are pretty competitive?

Commissions are very competitive. Very generous. However, I can think people are looking for something more than just a good commission, which a great hands down. However, they're looking to be, I feel, within a company that they can really call their own, you know. It's a company within a company, so we'd like to build marketing strategies off what you can bring to the table because your strengths, we want to be able to build off that.

Tell us a little bit more about some of the realtors now. Obviously the job market is competitive, so are there certain things you're looking for in background or experience? Do you prefer somebody who has several years of realty experience? Are you looking to help train some people and bring them on board into a new market. 

We're actually looking for seasoned real estate agents, as well as people who haven't been in the real estate industry. Now is a great time to get into a business that you don't know, so you can go in with that passion and just go in with that drive and determination. 

It was interesting because you said that you believe that at this time, there's going to be a big push, a big marketing effort, and there's going to be lots of clients signing up. 

Really excited about this. Kama'aina Realty is really taking their web technology to a whole another level, and this is really exciting because real estate is all web based as well as, people all across the country hardly ever go out to open house, but when they do, they know that that's the place they want to go to. They're already doing their research at home, so Kama'aina Realty is taking their web site to another level, Alohaiz.com, and they're doing really big things and we're excited about it. Now is the time to jump on to that boat.
